![]() This work showed the decisions made by the DMS on the interconnected batteries in each of the nodes where the frequency is very low due to the high demand in said nodes. These customers play an important role in the electricity market because they have the potential to generate power from their own locations and send it to the grid when required, as well as being able to store surplus energy and sell it at convenient times for the system. Today, this is a very important issue in electrical systems at the distribution level, since customers will also enter the game of buying and selling energy at different times. Recent DMS research has focused on the management of distributed sources and, more specifically, on the control of frequency and voltage when interconnected with nonregulated sources.
